Volunteer callout

Non-profit organisation, Elite cat rescue, has put out a call to locals, asking for volunteers for its Bunnings sausage sIzzle on Saturday, August 9.

In a Facebook post, members of the rescue organisation wrote they’d love to get more people involved.

“If you’re free for a few hours or all day, we’d love to have you on board,” the post read. “Whether it’s flipping sausages, handling cash, or chatting to the lovely locals about our rescue kitties, every bit of help makes a difference.

“All proceeds go directly to rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming abandoned cats and kittens.”

The fundraiser barbecue will take all day on August 9 at Bunnings Taylors Lakes.
