An unlicensed Keilor Park man has been charged after a pedestrian was hit on Monday afternoon.
Detectives from the Major Collision Investigation Unit charged the man after a pedestrian was hit by a car in Essendon North yesterday afternoon.
The pedestrian, an 84-year-old Essendon man, was taken to hospital with life-threatening-injuries, after allegedly being struck by a 4WD while crossing Mount Alexander Road.
The driver of the 4WD, a 47-year-old Keilor Park man, was arrested at the scene.
He was charged with dangerous driving causing serious injury and unlicensed driving.
He was bailed to the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on June 24.
