Police have charged two Sunshine North men and seized luxury vehicles, watches and cash as part of an investigation into drug trafficking in the Footscray and Sunshine areas.
Search warrants were executed at two residential addresses in Sunshine North on Wednesday.
A 33-year-old Sunshine North man was charged with trafficking and possessing heroin as well as being in possession of cocaine and methylamphetamine. He was also charged with five counts of dealing property suspected to be proceeds of crime.
He was remanded to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Thursday.
A 27-year-old Sunshine North man was also charged with trafficking and possessing heroin and three counts of dealing property suspected to be proceeds of crime.
He was bailed to appear at Sunshine Magistrates’ Court on August 21.
During the raids police seized a 2024 orange Porsche Macan wagon, a 2022 Mercedes Benz GLC, two Rolex watches, a significant amount of cash, and various drugs including heroin, methylamphetamine and cocaine in a variety of forms and packaging.
