Police have arrested a Truganina man after a vehicle was driven erratically through Laverton North this morning.
About 1.45am, a white Mercedes Benz was seen travelling in a haphazard manner along Kororoit Creek Road and the Princes Highway.
Police monitored the vehicle as it continued through Hoppers Crossing, Werribee, Altona North and Kensington, before stopping in Aquitania Way, Docklands where two men allegedly ran from the vehicle.
A 22-year-old from Truganina was arrested nearby, with assistance from the Victoria Police Air Wing. He is currently assisting police with their inquiries.
A second man fled the scene and has not been apprehended.
Police have urged anyone with information, or who may have witnessed the BMW being driven erratically between 1.45am and 2.15am to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
