Ghoulish creatures, terrifying ghosts and menacing monsters will take over Hampshire Road this Halloween.

The businesses of the Sunshine shopping precinct have banded together to bring the first ever Sunshine Halloween street party.

Aside from the roaming ghouls and scary characters, there’ll be plenty of trick or treating.

There will also be a number of decorated Halloween dens for the children to have their faces painted and grab some treats.

Dens will be located out the front of the Sunshine Marketplace, at the corner of Devonshire Road, outside Simplicity Funerals, and opposite the Sunshine library.

A highlight of the party promises to be the costume parade, where an award for best costume for both children and adults will be handed out.

The Sunshine Halloween street party will take place on Thursday, October 31 from 4-6pm.

The Sunshine Business Association is encouraging all children and their parents to get dressed up in their scariest outfits and join in the fun.
