Toddler rescued from locked car in Derrimut

Emergency services rescued a 20-month-old boy from a locked car in Derrimut Village shopping centre this morning.

An Ambulance Victoria spokesperson confirmed that paramedics responded to reports that a male infant was locked in a car at 11.15am.

The child was released from the car and no emergency treatment or transport was required.
