Brimbank residents will be serving up aces as the annual In2Tennis festival returns this summer.

The free festival, which is planned to run alongside the Australian Open, will run across nine different local tennis venues.

Brimbank mayor Ranka Rasic said the program is a fantastic opportunity for community members to give tennis a go no matter their age, ability or fitness level.

“It’s all about having fun and discovering all there is to love about tennis.

“The 2021, In2Tennis festival has been modified to reflect our COVID safe practices, such as limited program numbers, hand sanitiser available and appropriate record keeping of attendance, so you’ll still be able to safely try out a wide range of tennis activities.

“Best of all it’s all at no charge – including tennis court hire and all of the activities throughout the festival.”

There are several different activities residents can participate in depending on their preference and skill level.

The festival runs from February 8 through to February 21.

Registration is essential via www.brimbank.vic.gov.au/In2Tennis or 9249 4000.
