Teenager injured in St Albans hit-run

A 13-year-old boy is in hospital following a hit-run in St Albans.

Police believe the boy was hit by a car at a pedestrian crossing on Main Road West near Army Street, just after 8.30am on August 9.

Police said the driver did not stop and fled the scene. It is believed he was driving a blue Ford Falcon sedan.

The boy as taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
