Police are investigating the death of a 14-year-old Braybrook boy in St Albans on Monday, June 26.
Emergency services were called to Bailey Street following reports an injured male had been found on the road just after 11pm.
Another report was received advising a number of people had been seen in the vicinity of where the injured male was found, and they appeared to be armed with a knife, police said.
The teenager died on the way to hospital.
Police have set up a crime scene and Homicide Squad detectives are currently on scene.
