Teen charged over alleged Watergarden train station stabbing

A teenage boy has been charged over an alleged stabbing at Watergardens train station on April 8.

Police were called to the station on Circuit Road in Taylors Lakes following reports of up to 20 people fighting about 8.30pm.

Two males , aged 17 and 29, both sustained stab wounds, police said.

They were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

A 16-year-old Harkness boy was arrested at the scene and has been charged with intentionally cause serious injury, affray and attempted armed robbery.

He will appear at a children’s court at a later date.
