Armed Crime Squad detectives are investigating after a man was shot in Taylors Lakes last week.
Emergency services were called to reports of an injured man on the Melton Highway on Friday, August 26, about 7.45pm.
A 37-year-old Taylors Lakes man was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are yet to be determined, however investigators believe that the incident is not related to any other recent firearms incidents.
