Taylors Lakes million dollar winner

A Taylors Lakes man has admitted he stayed surprisingly cool, calm and collected last night when he discovered his $1.1 million Keno win.

The victorious Victorian scored the Keno Classic 10 Spot jackpot in draw 709, drawn Thursday, October 31, and looks forward to a total prize of $1,185,513.00.

Speaking to a Keno official, the happy man shared how his favourite numbers delivered the million-dollar prize.

“How did I react? Well, I was pretty calm!” he exclaimed.

“The Taylors Lakes Hotel is my local, and I always go there with my friends to have dinner or some drinks.

“I just decided to put on a game of Keno while we were there last night, and I used my special numbers that I’ve used for 35 years.

“I chose those numbers 35 years ago and have just played them ever since; they’re all random!”

“I’m not too sure exactly what I’ll do, but my daughter has a HECS debt that I’d like to pay off,” he said.

Taylors Lakes Hotel manager Ben Port said his team were so excited to have sold a major prize winning Keno ticket to a local customer.

“We’re super excited. There was such a buzz as people started to realise the jackpot had been won in our venue!” he shared.

“We wish our lucky winner all the best with their prize – it couldn’t have happened to a nicer customer!”
