Two people were arrested in Taylors Hill on Monday, July 18 over drug offences.
Police said that the VIPER Taskforce observed suspicious activity at a car park in the area while on patrol.
The taskforce then undertook a search of the vehicles and police founds drugs (cocaine and cannabis), a quantity of cash and drug-related paraphernalia, police said.
A 23-year-old man from Taylors Hill has been charged with possessing drugs of dependence, trafficking drugs of dependence and dealing property suspected proceeds of crime. The man was bailed and will face Sunshine Magistrates Court on Wednesday, December 21.
A 19-year-old from Hillside was issued a caution for drug-related offending.
The VIPER taskforce was formed in 2022 and is an acronym for visibility, intelligence, prevention, enforcement and reassurance.
