Some of Brimbank’s youngest and brightest pupils got a taste of higher education last week.
Caroline Chisholm Catholic College held a “Taster Day” on Thursday morning, with grade 4 students from St Albans’ Holy Eucharist School, Sunshine North’s St Bernadette’s School, Ardeer’s Mother of God School, Deer Park’s St Peter Chanel, Albion’s St Theresa’s and Braybrook’s Christ the King School discovering what secondary school life is all about.
The pupils – including Charlotte and Charlotte (pictured) – cooked in food technology class, performed experiments in science and danced as part of performing arts lessons.
“The college taster days are a really positive experience for both the primary school kids and our secondary school students,” Caroline Chisholm principal Marco DiCesare said.
