Enrolling your children or yourself in swimming lessons could save lives. Brimbank’s Swim and Survive program is returning to Sunshine Leisure Centre from this week.

The program offers lessons for young and old, with places available for babies from three months of age through to adults.

With lockdowns the last two years limiting access to pools, many children have been deprived of water safety programs.

Term one lessons kick off on January 31. Lessons are 30 minutes and cost $14.50 per week or $13.05 per week concession.

Unlimited pool entry, seven days per week is included in the program.

Times are available on weekends, as well as after school and during the day for younger children.

Brimbank council was recognised in 2021 with the Sunshine Leisure Centre awarded the Life Saving Victoria Swim and Survive Partner of the Year Award in 2021.
