Brimbank council has warned that residents might see a high tech vehicle with cameras driving around the area until the end of April.
The vehicle, known as a road survey vehicle, is aimed at inspecting the road network to effectively manage Brimbank’s road renewal program and improve safety for road users.
The cameras are faced downwards so the cameras focus on the road and kerb surface with limited viewing of areas directly adjacent.
Brimbank council are advising that if you are travelling behind a survey vehicle, drive with a gap of one full car length so that rear cameras have a clear view of the road surface.
