A Sunshine West man has been charged with murder following the death of a 37-year-old Taylors Lakes man in hospital on Monday night.
Christopher Orfanidis, 31, faced the Melbourne Magistrates Court on Wednesday charged with one count of murder.
He has been remanded in custody and will face court on November 25 for a committal mention.
It follows an incident on the Ballarat Road off ramp of the Western Ring Road in Ardeer on July 6.
Orfanidis previously faced a string of assault charges.
A second man, 39-year-old Bill Panagiotidis from Maribyrnong, was charged with being an accessory to an indictable offence and attempting to pervert the course of justice on July 17.
