Former teacher gives kids a dressing up

A Sunshine North mother’s online business selling hand-made clothes for tots was inspired by her own newborn.

Former teacher Pauline Da Silva said the business, Felix + Leopold, started in 2014 and was built “by a mum who knows the day-to-day clothing struggles all mums go through with their kids”.

“When I was pregnant with my son, I started making nursery decor pieces and that flourished into kids clothing,” Pauline said.

“I wanted to create something unique.”

Pauline sources her own materials and designs everything.

“I think if you have a passion, go for it – your hobby could turn into something wonderful,” she said.
