Firefighters tackled a house fire in Sunshine North on Friday afternoon, October 3.
Crews arrived within five minutes to find smoke and flames issuing from the roof of a single-storey brick home.
Three occupants were able to evacuate safely and confirm all persons were accounted for.
Firefighters entered the burning home and attacked the fire with multiple hoselines.
Crews also protected neighbouring homes that were under threat from the fire spreading.
Firefighters experienced problems in accessing the roof space to bring the fire under control.
The house has sustained significant damage and the cause of the fire is yet to be determined but will be investigated.
