Police have charged a 22 year-old Sunshine man after he allegedly sexually assaulted a woman on a train in August.
The man boarded an inbound train from Sunshine Railway Station on Monday 25 August about 1.30pm.
The 24-year-old victim, already on board the train, was seated towards the rear of the carriage when the offender came and sat directly behind her.
He allegedly sexually assaulted her before departing the train at Tottenham.
The man self-presented to a police station on 5 November and was interviewed by detectives.
The man is expected to be charged on summons.
