Police have arrested a 25-year old Sunshine man following an incident in St Albans the morning of Wednesday 11 February.
Officers were called to a business on Furlong Road about 12.15am after reports a man had broken into the property.
Staff, who were still on site, secured themselves in a storeroom and had contacted police.
The man stayed in the premises for a short time before leaving.
Police were quickly on scene and arrested the Sunshine man.
He was taken to hospital for treatment to existing injuries.
The man has since been charged with criminal damage and trespass and was bailed to appear at Sunshine Magistrates’ Court on 25 February.
