Sunshine home breaks $1million barrier

A Sunshine residential property has broken the $1 million barrier for the first time.

Over a hundred people gathered on Saturday morning to see the four bedroom house at 1 Walter Street go under the hammer.

Described by selling agents Sweeney as “an absolute once in a lifetime opportunity not to be missed”, the property sold for $1.03m.

It comes several months after a five bedroom property in Cornwall Road sold for $935,000, the highest price for a residential property in Sunshine until Saturday’s big sale.
