Pull on your tennis shoes and get ready to hit some aces as Brimbank council’s Get In2Tennis program ramps up.

Tennis clubs across Brimbank are welcoming the community back for another year, with people welcome to try the courts in your own time with free court hire.

Mayor Bruce Lancashire the program aimed to increase access to the game by providing free court hire.

He said people of all abilities, ages and fitness levels could hit the courts.

“In2Tennis is part Brimbank’s Be Active program and supported by Tennis Australia. Be Active finds ways to encourage and support activities which are beneficial for your health,” he said.

Participating tennis clubs include Albion Tennis Club, Delahey Tennis Club, Keilor Park Tennis Club, North Sunshine Tennis Club, St Albans East Tennis Club and Sunshine Park Tennis Club.

The free court hire will run between January 20 and January 29.

Registration is essential via www.brimbank.vic.gov.au/In2Tennis or 9249 4000.
