Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) crews responded to a fire in a decommissioned, partially demolished, nursing home in St Albans around midnight on June 28.
Following a single call to triple-0 crews arrived on scene within seven minutes to find the roof of a single storey structure, issuing flames and smoke.
Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters worked to extinguish the fire, bringing the incident under control within 50 minutes.
The premises was found to be vacant at the time of the incident, and no injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is yet to be determined. Victoria Police will continue investigations.
Ambulance Victoria were on scene to support firefighting activities.
