Summer storytime cool for kids

Summer is nearly here and kids are being urged to slip, slop, slap and enjoy a good book.

Brimbank council is about to hold a series of free Storytime in the Park sessions and fun activities for children of all ages.

They will be in the Alexandra Avenue gardens, opposite Brimbank council’s offices, Sunshine, on December 4 and at Isabella Williams Memorial Reserve, Deer Park, on December 8.

Both sessions start at 10.30am.

Further sessions will be held through summer. Bring a rug, hat, sunscreen and snack.
