After months of eagerly waiting, Watergardens renovated Station Street precinct is open.

New additions to the day-to-night dining i nStation Street have opened this week, complementing the new-to-market food

offers, new overhead canopies and fresh landscaping and a new children’s playground and amenities.

Centre manager Trish Gardiner said the new additions to Watergardens would be a game-changer and provide year round alfresco dining.

“We’re thrilled to be giving Taylors Lakes locals the chance to sample more international cuisines without leaving the area, and hopefully easing the stress for those dining out with young children,” she said.

“Whether you’re an enthusiastic foodie or just looking for a fantastic family option, Station Street has something that will meet your needs.”

The new restaurants include Mexican restaurant Rosa Mexicano, Schnitz, Dumplings Plus and Up in Smoke.

Up in Smoke owner and head chef Shayne McCallum said he was looking forward to bringing his storied restaurant to the outer-west.

“I’m looking forward to bringing families and the wider community together to enjoy themselves at what we hope will become a staple for local residents,” he said.

To celebrate the opening, Watergardens will be hosting a series of professional and community musical acts on their new busking stage

throughout summer.
