St Albans teen charged with aggravated affray following death of man in Adelaide

A 16-year-old St Albans boy has been charged with aggravated affray following the death of a man in the Adelaide CBD on Monday, April 25.

Police were called to North Terrace, Adelaide, about 2am, where officers found a man lying on the road.

It is alleged the man, a 25-year-old from Richmond, Victoria, had multiple stab wounds to his chest.

Police said he died at the scene.

After receiving information later that morning, officers attended Adelaide Airport and arrested four males attempting to travel to Victoria.

A 17-year-old boy from Meadow Heights has been charged with murder, aggravated affray and travelling under a false name. He did not apply for bail and will appear in the Adelaide Youth Court on Tuesday, April 26.

A 21-year-old Werribee man was also charged with aggravated affray while an 18-year-old man from Victoria was charged with aggravated affray and travelling under a false name.

The two men were refused bail and will appear at the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Tuesday, April 26.

The St Albans boy will face Adelaide Youth Court on Tuesday, April 26.
