St Albans man charged

A St Albans man has been charged as part of an investigation into the cultivation of cannabis.

Police executed search warrants on Friday at properties in Albion, Glenroy, Broadmeadows, Reservoir and Dallas.

Police located alleged hydroponic cannabis set-ups along with a significant quantity of cannabis plants.

A 43-year-old St Albans man was charged with possessing, trafficking and cultivating a commercial quantity of Cannabis and bail offences.

A 37-year-old St Albans man, a 23-year-old St Albans woman and a 26-year-old Sunshine man were released and are expected to be charged with cultivating commercial quantities of cannabis.
