Police responded to reports of an altercation in Taylors Lakes on September 18.
Police said it understood a group of about 10 youths were involved in an altercation at a shopping centre on Melton Highway just after 5.30pm.
All were gone on police arrival except one male that was treated for minor injuries.
A knife was located by security and given to police.
A 15-year-old boy was arrested at a nearby railway station shortly later.
He has been charged with affray and was bailed to a children’s court at a later date.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are yet to be determined at this stage, but it is believed all parties involved may be known to each other.
