Brimbank council hosted a BBQ and Barbers event at Westvale community Centre on Monday, October 28 as part of the Victorian Seniors Festival. More than 85 guests toured the Westvale Men’s Shed, learnt about what’s on across Brimbank’s network of Neighbourhood Houses, enjoyed a free hair cut and delicious barbecue lunch. Guests were entertained by AFL great Doug Hawkins, who shared humorous anecdotes about football and life growing up in Braybrook.
