Brimbank residents set to hit the road for holidays or those who are returning to work are being warned to allow extra travel time due to road closures.
Works on the West Gate Tunnel Project, will result in closures on the on the West Gate Freeway and the Western Ring Road.
Between January 11 and February 28, there will be no access from West Gate Freeway outbound to Western Ring Road, Greensborough-bound, and no access from the Ring Road, Altona-bound to the Princes Freeway.
There will also be upgrades between Edgars and Sydney roads in late January and February, with road closures to be in place.
