A man has been captured riding an unregistered quad bike through the streets of Sunshine this morning.
A resident posted a photo of the rider at the corner of Anderson and Forrest streets, who allegedly ran a red light around 8.45am.
“Gotta love Sunshine traffic,” she posted to the Sunshine Victoria – For People Who Live, Work or Play Locally facebook page
Quad bikes cannot be used on public land, according to the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning.
A Police Media spokesperson said a person riding a quad bicycle on a road can be issued a $758 penalty notice for using an unregistered motor vehicle with two axles.
