It was a school of a different type on Saturday in St Albans.
The Brimbank Snuff Skool got under way with students taking part in a one-day performance workshop with the Snuff Puppets.
The Snuff Puppets have developed a unique performance style merging puppetry and formal contemporary movement theories over the past 20 years.
In the workshop students learned puppetry skills and created acts with giant puppets before finishing the day with a roaming performance around the streets of St Albans.
More workshops will be held in Brimbank in the coming months.
