Struggling to find a COVID-19 vaccine appointment in Sunshine?
You might be in luck on tomorrow with a one day pop-up vaccine hub running at the Visy Cares Hub, to help get more people vaccinated.
The hub is being operated by IPC Health, The Youth Junction and Brimbank council and is open for all members of the public to attend.
Appointments are recommended, with a number of appointments still available. There will be a small amount of drop in appointments available on the day.
The hub, which is set to be a one off, will be open between 10am and 4pm on September 29.
The new hub comes as the vaccine rates in Brimbank start to grow. The municipality has had one of the lowest rates in Melbourne, with complaints about struggling to get access to vaccines.
As of September 26, 71.9 per cent of people over the age of 16 have had their first dose, while 38.8 per cent have had two doses.
