A pop-up mental health clinic in Braybrook is now open to help provide more support for those who need it.

The site along with one in Melton West are being operated by coHealth as part of the state government’s roll out of 20 sites across the state.

Appointments for both sites can be booked at the partners in wellbeing website or through their dedicated welling phone line.

Cohealth chief executive Nicole Bartholomeusz previously said the pop-up services will have a tremendous impact on people who are struggling with mental health issues during the pandemic.

“A pandemic is not just a physical health phenomenon, it affects individuals and the broader community creating anxiety, stress, stigma, and fear.

“Loss of income, isolation from friends and family and disrupted education can exacerbate pre-existing mental health conditions, and trigger episodes in people with no history of mental ill-health.”
