The Green Building Council of Australia has recognised the Brimbank Aquatic and Wellness Centre as “world leading” for its sustainable design.
The authority on sustainable design has given the centre its highest rating, a Six-Star Green Star Design score despite it being in its construction phase.
It is now well on its way to achieving a 6 Star Green Star Design & As Built v1.2 rating. The feat would make the site the first indoor aquatic centre in Australia to achieve this rating.
