Police have charged three people following a pursuit overnight which ended in Keilor Downs.
A firearm was allegedly found in one vehicle and drugs were located in the other.
After observing an allegedly stolen car in Broadmeadows, police followed it through Pascoe Vale, Essendon and Moonee Ponds and finally to Keilor Downs, where the female driver left the car and got into a van.
With Air Wing assistance, police were able to deploy stop sticks in Westmeadows to stop the van.
The three people in the van have been charged with multiple offences. Two will appear before the Broadmeadows Magistrates Court on Thursday, December 8 and one will appear at a later date.
