Police appeal for information following collision on Brimbank road

Brimbank Highway Patrol officers are appealing for public assistance following a collision that caused a car to flip in Derrimut on the night of Tuesday, November 29.

Investigators are keen to speak to any witnesses or anyone that may have dash cam footage.

It is believed that a grey Ford Falcon sedan was travelling along the Western Ring Road when it collided with a blue Ford Mondeo station wagon near the Fitzgerald Road exit just before 10.30pm.

The collision caused the Falcon to flip onto its roof. The male driver of the Falcon and three passengers were not seriously injured. The male driver and sole occupant of the Mondeo was not injured.

The 19-year-old driver of the Falcon, a Cranbourne East man, was arrested at the scene and interviewed.

He was subsequently released and is expected to be charged on summons with reckless conduct endangering serious injury.
