Photos shed light on life in Afghanistan

Dinjerra Primary School pupils have paused to consider what life might be like for children in Afghanistan.

The pupils, including Joseph (pictured), visited Braybrook library last week to see A Candle in the Dark, an exhibition of photos taken as part of Save the Children’s ‘Children of Uruzgan’ program.

The program is aimed at increasing access to basic health and education for children and families in the Afghan province where about 300 mothers and more than 3000 children under the age of five die every year.
