Commuters faced major delays this morning after train services on the Sunbury line were suspended.
Peak hour services were thrown into chaos and buses used to replace trains between Watergardens and Sunshine due to a police request.
The travel time between Watergardens and Souther Cross station was reportedly in excess of two hours.
