Our Kitchen Table celebrates tradition

Recipes that celebrate family traditions and cultures have been published in a new cookbook.

Taylors Hill Primary School pupils were invited to submit their family recipes for Melton council’s Our Kitchen Table cookbook.

Melton mayor Kathy Majdlik said celebrating diversity, through food and family traditions, was a “wonderful” way to learn about other cultures.

The cookbook features Melton council’s healthy eating mascot, Broc, and interesting and fun facts about food.

There are some hard copies available at Taylors Hill Neighbourhood House, or download it at melton.vic.gov.au/ourkitchentable.
