One dead, one in custody after shooting in Deer Park

One man is dead and another is in custody following a suspected shooting in Deer Park on Wednesday afternoon.

The victim was found dead in Poole Street, Deer Park, just after 2pm.

The exact circumstances and cause of death are yet to be determined, police say, but it is understood there had been a shooting.

Police are not looking for anyone else and it’s believed the pair were known to each other.
