A 29-year-old nurse was left with serious injuries after a hit-run collision in Sunshine last night.
The woman was walking across the pedestrian crossing on Furlong Road after finishing her shift at the hospital about 9.50pm when a dark-coloured ute travelling east-bound ran through a red light and hit her.
The driver of the vehicle failed to stop to render assistance.
Police believe the vehicle they are seeking will have damage to the front left panel. They are appealing to anyone who may have dash camera footage in the area at the time to come forward.
Anyone who witnessed the collision or has any information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
