A Niddrie law firm has launched a free wills service in exchange of a $50 donation to raise money for Cancer Council.
Mendis & Gibson Lawyers’ initiative is in honour of the firm’s late business partner Anna Gibson who died of cancer in 2015. Ms Gibson started the firm with Sidney Mendis.
“We lost Anna to cancer in 2015. It has been eight years since our loss but she still very much alive in everything we do here at Mendis & Gibson Lawyers,” saidShawn Mendis.
“To commemorate her, the firm is doing a donation drive for cancer council by raising money through free wills. We simply ask that you donate a minimum of $50 to Cancer Council. The usual recommended retail price of our will services starts at $330,” said Mr Mendis.
The will drive will run at the law on April 29, from 9.30am-5.00pm.
