Overnewton Anglican Community College last week celebrated the coming together of their two junior schools at the newly named Canowindra Campus.
Prep to grade four pupils are now all based at the Taylors Lakes campus, having previously been spread across the Taylors Lakes and Keilor campuses.
Older students will all be based at the Keilor campus.
The college has invested approximately $25 million over the past 18 months to create state-of-the art facility upgrades across the two campuses, including the new prep to year two building, with old portable classrooms replaced also replaced.
It will cater for more than 700 pupils.
The Taylors Lakes college has been renamed Canowindra, which was the name of the old year nine centre on the site.
The changes are the most significant change to the structure of the college since the opening of the Taylors Lakes campus in 1996.
Chair of the College Board, John Durow said this was another step in the college’s masterplan.
