Mystery over critically injured Braybrook pedestrian identity

Police have identified the pedestrian who sustained life-threatening injuries after being struck by a car in Braybrook on Friday.

A 24-year-old Indian National was taken to hospital where he remains in a critical condition.

The public had earlier been being urged to help identify a man who sustained life-threatening injuries after being struck by a car in Braybrook early Friday morning.

The collision occurred at the intersection of Ballarat Road and Evans Street about 5.30am.

The man was taken to hospital where he remains in a critical condition.

The driver, a 36-year-old Campbellfield man, stopped at the scene to assist.
