A Delahey resident could be the latest lucky winner of a $100,000 lotto jackpot but their identity remains a mystery.
The winning ticket was purchased from the Delahey Village Lotto & Newsagency for the Tuesday, August 16 Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot , with the prize remaining unclaimed for over 24 hours.
A call has been put out to check lotto tickets purchased from the newsagency as The Lott said the winner may not even know the good news yet.
Delahey Village Lotto & Newsagency owner Yomi Shah couldn’t believe the news.
“We can’t stop telling every customer that we’ve sold a Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot 1st Prize – my team and I are so excited,” he told The Lott officials.
“We’re keeping a bottle of champagne behind the counter in case the winner decides to come in and check their ticket in store. We hope the mystery winners discover their exciting win very soon.”
