Locals can access free pads and tampons at more sites across Brimbank as part of the state government’s program which was expanded last month.
Expanded sites in Brimbank include:

St Albans Library – 71A Alfrieda St, St Albans
Keilor Library and Community Hub – 704B Old Calder Hwy, Keilor
Deer Park Library – 4 Neale Rd, Deer Park
Delahey Community Centre – 70 Copperfield Drive, Delahey
West Sunshine Neighbourhood House – 25 Kermeen Street, West Sunshine
West Vale Community Centre – 45 Kings Road, St Albans
According to the state government, one in five women and girls report that they can’t afford the period products they need every month.
Since the launch of the program in November 2024, more than 90,000 packs have been dispensed – saving families hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Councils across Victoria were asked to help nominate venues, making sure products are available in every corner of the state.
