The Victorian government has launched a new program to support small businesses, such as those in Brimbank, to create safe and mentally healthy workplaces.
The Workwell Toolkit for Small Business is a free online service with information to prevent mental injury at work.
The toolkit has been designed to specifically address small businesses, including case studies and policy templates to promote mental well being.
The kit addresses topics such as bullying, respect and work-life balance.
Victorian minister for small business Jaala Pulford said the kit would help small businesses to reduce staff stress levels as effectively as possible.
“The toolkit has been designed for small businesses to create a mentally healthy workplace which benefits everyone.”
