A 22-year old man has been slashed with a machete and robbed outside a Sunshine West shopping centre.
Police said the victim was confronted by a man outside a grocery store on The Avenue about 8pm.
The thief stole the victim’s car keys and phone then slashed him several times with a machete before fleeing.
The victim was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries to his head, arm and leg.
